A tall-stemmed cake stand, mouth blown and scissor cut to produce a plate with a thick, soft rim. Mouth blown by skilled glassblowers. The tall pillar-stemmed cakestand is scissor cut to achieve the thick rounded rim. The foot is shaped using a wooden tool and applied by hand to the stem.
